Hringa Jewellery Design

Icelandic jewellery designer Inga R. Bachmann is the owner, and the talented designer behind Hringa Jewellery Design, which she launched in 2008. Hringa means “making rings” or “going in circles” in Icelandic.

Which is very fitting for the Icelandic based label, as it also remains environmentally friendly. Hringa only uses recycled precious metals and attains fair trade or laboratory grown stones. Inga herself has designed beautiful pieces out of silver, gold, metal and even Icelandic lava stones! Where she creates signature/themed collections inspired by everything from her personal experiences of the urban city life, to the roots of the unique Icelandic nature, and its remote environment.

I especially like her Icelandic fish bone inspired collection, which can be checked out here

Hringa Jewellery also makes custom designs, where you can design your own name ring, necklace or even have specially made children´s accessories.

Stop by Hringa Jewellery´s cosy store on Reykjaviks main shopping street Laugavegur 33. Where all their furniture and jewellery display cases are second-hand, carefully picked out, beautiful Icelandic and Scandinavian pieces.

A must visit store in Reykjavik, if looking to treat or purchase some real, beautiful designed scandinavian Jewellery!
