Henrik Vibskov SS17

The Henrik Vibskov SS17 show was set at the heart of Copenhagen’s Meat Packing District. The theme of the show was the opposing worlds of salami cutting and martial arts. The stage was set with a 20 meter long structure with hanging knitted salami rolls and four robust meat workers cutting up the salami.

The collection consisted of martial art costume inspired pieces, structurally cut with origami and ribbon folding in the detailed patterns, salami and meat inspired prints, colourful fringe knits, polka dots and bulky trench coats. As always there was a lot of colour, print and quirky hats but the collection felt very wearable all the same.

I’m looking forward to seeing the pieces on the street next season!
