James Hock SS17 Lookbook
For Spring/Summer 2017, unisex designer James Hock embraces his roots in customization. This season is all about versatility and the adaptability of garments to suit both the weather and the individual.
Despite previous summer collections of Hock’s being bombarded with dark tones, this season embraces clean-cut white cotton to create airy silhouettes for the warmer months in the form of signature wide-leg trousers, culottes and robes – as well as new, exciting additions. Straps and pull cords are added to t-shirts to allow for customization of the silhouette while knitwear is loose and oversized with a throw-over ease.
Accessories are always key to James Hock’s aesthetic and Spring/Summer 2017 doesn’t disappoint. The signature cube-top hats embrace functionality and are now shower-proof with multiple pockets, as are versatile money bag-style pouches that can be wrapped around the waist or shoulders, or casually swung over the arm.
I love being able to customise my clothing which makes James Hock S/S 17 collection something to look forward to!
