Jan Cerny, a young creative mind from Czech Republic and a student of Tomas Bata University in Zlin. He already had the opportunity to show what he can do last year in the summer during Mercedes Benz Prague Fashion Week, where he showcased his SS18 collection. Obviously, we were excited how his current collection turns out.

The venue of the show was taking place at the outside area of Letenska plan, using an underground parking lot as a backstage space and hangout area before the show. The collection called EGO TRIP completely conquer our hearts with Cerny’s capability of incorporating edgy looks into classic silhouettes. He has also proved, that he is not afraid of combining colours and showcasing different aspects of his work. To break the boundaries, Cerny worked for his collection with a Slovak painter Martin Lukac, who decorated some of the garments with his art works.

Resembling the workwear and leisure, the garments were complimented with crossbody bags with metallic hardware details. To finished off the whole look, models wore shoes from Cerny’s latest collaboration with a Czech traditional shoe brand Prestige.
