Munthe AW19- Backstage

As known from the previous collections, Munthe stayed truth to their brand identity and yet again, created a collection full of beautiful wearable pieces, where comfort plays the key role.

As for the guest list, we could have seen diversity as its finest, consisting of people of all ages with different style (and most likely the largest amount of hair clips at one place ever). The collection included wide selection from chunky colourful print knits, tons of overcoats of different silhouettes, shapes, fabrics and more formal silky gowns overlaying wide trousers. Smart layering, shade on shade and combination of different prints was the rule when sending the models on the runway. Being keen on baby blue colour, we loved the single breasted coat featuring two frontal chest pockets and buttons, sporting an olive green fishing hat.

Considering the amount of pieces in such a short time, the show seemed slightly overwhelming with a lack of cohesiveness, leaving us a little of time to actually start dreaming about our next fishing trip wearing that beautiful glen check pattern coat.
