After the designers duo Barbarra Potts and Cathrine Saks won the ’Brand of the Year’ award for the ELLE Style Awards 2018 back in May, the pressure was on. For their Collection 12, presented at the Spring / Summer season of Copenhagen Fashion Week, they introduced us to a Spanish / Hispanic culture, where Latino music was defined by the glamorous and sensual style of Mexi- can/American Tejano singer Selena Quintanilla-Pérez.

“Women of the Spanish / Hispanic culture embrace and show off their femininity proudly. They see sensuality as a strength which their clothes reflected, and that’s why this is a great inspirationto us.” says Co-Founder and Designer, Barbara Potts.

Models walking down the runway released their alter ego as Lizzie – a proud and honorable cowgirl, riding a horse in her patent leather outfit with a rhinestone belt around her waist, paired u with bright cowboy boots, while we at it. Apart from other pieces, the fundamental aspects of the collection were hyper-lux shearling trimmed coats, fitted high waisted trousers combined matching with cropped jackets in SP-embossed leather, introduced for the very first time.
